At a time of multiple crises and geopolitical confrontation, MIKTA Leaders reaffirmed their commitment to a safe, peaceful, just, equal, inclusive, sustainable and prosperous world for all, calling on all UN Member States to uphold the United Nations Charter and UN Resolutions, including those adopted by the Security Council.

As a group from diverse cultures and regions, Leaders reaffirmed their commitment to actively participating in major international fora, serving as a bridge-building force and helping to find consensus. In this context, MIKTA Leaders reiterate their commitment to the G20 as the premier forum for international economic cooperation.

MIKTA partners have delivered 18 joint statements at high-level multilateral meetings and adopted a Special Communiqué in support of the Pact for the Future, in accordance with its commitment to an effective multilateral system and a sustainable, just, equitable, inclusive, and peaceful global system.

Leaders shared their appreciation to Mexico for its successful chairing of MIKTA in 2024 and commended the advancement of its three key priorities: 1) Strengthening multilateralism; 2) Placing women at the center of development efforts; and 3) Deepening coordination among development cooperation authorities.
